Article was right on target

Article was correct. Career women ARE more likely to get divorced, DO cheat more, and are more likely to be a negligent mother. Does anyone really dispute that? Cmon.

I would never marry Ms. Career Woman either. Reason being is she never has time for me/us. With these career women, it’s always about HER. It’s about HER career, keeping HER name instead of taking her husband’s. It’s about HER material things, her vacations with all her girlfriends. Mindset of today’s modern feminist: I’m not cooking or cleaning anymore. I’m not taking care of the kids anymore. I’m throwing them in day care as soon as they’re a week old.(which when you think about it is essentially saying that your career is more important than your own children). Always about HER pursuit of what she wants while the husband and kids are a distant second. Just like a man’s first priority should be his wife and kids, a woman’s first priority should be her husband and kids.

Are you starting to see a pattern developing here? And you girls wonder why you can’t find a decent man? Gee…I wonder if it’s because of the modern day feminists “you do all the giving and I do all the taking” attitude.

And I gather that you think you possess some sort of intrinsic right to work outside the home, even if it means that you devote less time to your wife? After all, you wouldn’t be concentrating on the relationship as much as you could.

I say this as a very happily married woman who works, by the by.

I like it when guys like you say things like this in public.
It makes it easier for guys like me to get laid.

Thanks man, for taking one for the team.

plastroncafe makes an excellent point. How in the world will your dimwitted wife help the kiddies with their algebra homework? Or read above the fifth grade level?

…says the man who thinks women are only worthwhile in society as baby factories. Who’s the loser here? Right.

I think [some of] you guys are ignoring something very important. Marriage should be a partnership of equals. You know, that whole crazy give AND take thing? I know, totally unreasonable, right?

A marriage where the career wife is neglectful of her family is not any worse than a marriage where the husband simply wants to claim ownership to a subservient, docile sex slave/housemaid or considers networking with clients/working on his golf game to be more important than spending quality time with his family. None of those things is less SELFISH than the others.

The REAL issues here revolve around how to balance career and family in today’s world. (Which, unfortunately for some people, is no longer the world of the 1950s.)

I find it sad that fragile egos and fear of emasculation make the idea of women’s independence so outrageous to some.

… and makes me ever more grateful for my partner, who loves me as I am, treats me with respect, and drives me to do my best in all of my endeavors– all things which are reciprocated 100%.
