This article of course leaves out the fact that women today are “alpha” by nothing other than government fiat, even as men are forbidden from succeeding and the younger generations are medicated into submission while having the slogan “competition (predominantly masculine trait)=bad, cooperation (presumably feminine trait, although I’ve not experienced this in practice)=good” hammered into their heads.. There are very very few women who would make it in a free market world (which is of course why feminism insists on the government intimately meddling with people’s affairs – it is the only way they can compete, by crying “foul” when their widdle feewuhings have been hurt).

Why an Alpha Female Should Never Marry a Gamma Man

The article was so crappy I couldn’t finish reading it.

What the hell is a “gamma” male supposed to be anyway? I mean I’m familiar with the beta male vs alpha male argument (not that I agree with it) but how many more catagories are these twits going to come up with?

Can I be the Omega male or was that just for Charles Heston?

It is just a tiny taste of what goes on in “career wimmins'” minds.

The first mistake the male moron, who was the subject of the article, made was marrying an older woman.  This is ALWAYS a losing proposition.  Eliminate that issue first.

So a few men married career women and their relationships fell apart because they didn’t stick with the roles they put themselves in at the beginning and wouldn’t get help working out their issues and just decided to give up….so that means that nobody should marry a career woman.

Aight got it. Cool.

BTW, opposites attract, and after a while, those opposite traits that made the other person “complete” you will get on your every last nerve. Happens in every marriage, no matter what the opposites would be. I would assume it would be just as likely to happen with a strong man and submissive woman.

Marriage is a practical decision.  I have never been married, nor will I, but I am well aware that marrying an older woman is a losing bet, everytime.  Seen it and it doesn’t work.  Most of the time opposites make for bad bedfellows in marriage.  Sure, the sex when you are dating may be great but marriage is entirely different matter. You really can’t be that stupid, can you?

Depends on the opposites in question. You’re not going to marry someone with NO opposite traits from your own (YOU’RE not that stupid, are you?) and sometimes balance can be a very good thing. I’m an emotional person. I’ve been with emotional men. It’s a freaking roller coaster. Someone laid-back complements me much better. But someone who is your complete opposite in terms of goals, intelligence, etc. etc. is a bad idea. Depends on everyone’s priorities and their wililngness to compromise.

No, that was actually some of my knowledge of marriage counseling coming out right there. ‘Tis all.

An emotional roller coaster. Sounds pretty psychotic.

Are you a psychiatrist?  Doubtful, which means you are an armchair idiot.  You are a borderline personality and just the kind of woman men should run from.

I’m a counselor…well, an intern for a while. Still in school. So yes, I can diagnose mental disorders with the approval of my supervisor; counselors just can’t prescribe drugs. (I prefer a more holistic approach than helping the legal drug dealers anyway.)

So which five of the diagnostic criteria do I meet and how could you tell via a few posts on the internet? I’m very curious as it seems that you’re far more intuitive than I.
