Thanks to all forum panelists for their time and insightful discussions. Excellent job providing your ideas and opinions with such clarity and diligence. (Personally, I never before heard the f***nism word used this much in my entire life.) Perhaps you would think about your willingness to present your viewpoints in a televised reality-show about money and it’s relationship in the family if Forbes presents the opportunity to you.

The comments by many male participants have confirmed the absolute necessity of career women, and not only provided a clear case of the need for continuation of the women’s rights movement, but also why it was necessary in the first place. There will always be women holding up the “will sleep with men for food and a Lexus” sign in every walk of life for the Mr. Noers of the world, as well as dedicated career women who are responsible mothers and also independent of their own means. Every mother in her right mind wants her child to be cared for by a responsible person until they’re old enough to care for themselves, whether it’s by herself, grandma, auntie, childcare, etc.

Since every person walking the face of the earth is here because a woman created them, profound Honors are bestowed to all women of the world who are the reason we have life, and profound thanks to the male helpmates for their hunter/gathering support role to the family.

Wishing everyone the best of luck with their relationships in the future.

P.S. (Beevis and Butthead – back to your video games and comic books.)

Food for thought: People of certain social status send their children off to year-round boarding school when 7-10 years old, military school, or have live in nannies. The poor man can’t afford these things.  In older times, girls were married off when they got their mense, 13 and younger. Boys also went off to make their way in the world in their teens. It’s only in recent times that we have drawn out and prolonged the “childhood” years.

When our country was predominantly rural farming/ranching, mom, dad, and the kids worked the fields, milked cows, fed chickens, etc. The entire family unit worked at home. In depression times, my grandmother would go to the fields early in the morning taking the children big enough to work, and then she would go back to the house at noon to nurse the babies (her husband committed suicide blowing his head off in front of his 7 children, leaving her alone to face the music). Older children took turns tending the small children and cooking, while mom worked the fields and later working at the war plant. She was a working mom. The kids learned responsibility at a much younger age. The world is different now. We are different. Life evolves through struggles.

They still don’t get it. It has nothing to do with careers but more to do with women using government to get more and more of a man’s paycheck. We are giving you your freedom to work but don’t want to share our wealth with you anymore, get it ladies. If you don’t like us get a foreign husband and for once in your life start to pay the major bills. Instead a woman’s motto is usually, my money is my money your money is our money. Your independent, pay your own way through life now that goes for the traditional ladies as well since you want to stay at home but without the traditional house duties. American woman have become the largest entitlement princesses in the world, you are now so bad you can’t even stand an article that may contradict any feminists ideals.

Thank you for your posts! it was good to talk to you.

I hate to respond to your last post like this but…. I am afraid your assertion of women creating everyone on earth is quite wrong.

The idea that women “give life” is a very recent idea. In the ancient world, the woman was seen to be the earth, where a man’s “seed” was planted.

We can look at this from a variety of angles.

From the Biblical way of thinking:

God greated MAN. Then he created Woman.

Indeed, the ancients were quite clear that the child was of the father, not the mother.

We all know the Christian Trinity consists of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

And Christ, according to the Orthodox was begotten, not made. So, the idea that the child is of the Father is very clear in Judeo-Christian thought.

What did the Greeks say about this? Lets take a look!

Eumenides
By Aeschylus

Written 458 B.C.E
Translated by E. D. A. Morshead

http://classics.mit.edu/Aeschylus/eumendides.html

“APOLLO

657-668
This too I answer; mark a soothfast word
Not the true parent is the woman’s womb
That bears the child; she doth but nurse the seed
New-sown: the male is parent; she for him,
As stranger for a stranger, hoards the germ
Of life, unless the god its promise blight.
And proof hereof before you will I set.
Birth may from fathers, without mothers, be:
See at your side a witness of the same,
Athena, daughter of Olympian Zeus,
Never within the darkness of the womb
Fostered nor fashioned, but a bud more bright
Than any goddess in her breast might bear.

ATHENA

734-740
Mine is the right to add the final vote,
And I award it to Orestes’ cause.
For me no mother bore within her womb,
And, save for wedlock evermore eschewed,
I vouch myself the champion of the man,
Not of the woman, yea, with all my soul,-
In heart, as birth, a father’s child alone.”

This ideal of the Father being the source of life lasted a great long time… until science proved that conception happens when a SPERM fertilized an EGG.

But men are still the most important factor in reproduction. Why you might ask?

Because Men are the spark. They ask women to marry them, and they give women the seed needed to make that new life.

And what happens when men don’t provide their life-giving seed??

“Half Japan’s men in their 30s are currently unmarried and it appears likely this figure will continue to grow…

(In Japan, out of birth wedlock is considered a no-no. Very very few babies are born out of wedlock, not enough to replenish Japan’s population.)

… It won’t be long until only the very elite and extremely good-looking men are the only guys who’ll be able to marry,” Morinaga says, adding that Japan’s birthrate has notched up a new record low every year for the past five years. “Growing numbers of Rennai NEETs (abstainers from love, sex and procreation) could have disastrous economic implications for Japan. German economist Werner Sombart said that economic growth is the result of income, which is produced through a combination of love, luxury and capitalism. About 10 percent of Japan’s GDP is generated by love through such things as dating, purchases of jewelry as presents, fashion and buying trendy cars. If love ends, Japan’s economy will be in a perilous state.”

In closing…

Jewels, I hope that you, and all of your Feminist cousins learn an important lession.

You need Men. We need Women. Without each other, there is no go.

Take care.

But men are still the most important factor in reproduction.

Nice post…

Things only just start with the spark you mention.

The biological fact is, human females get more of an investment out of the males of their species for raising their offspring than any other mammal on the planet.

And the beneficiaries don’t seem to be very happy about it!

Are they insane?

It’s no wonder men haven’t moved to another planet so as not to be bothered by all their nagging, temper-tantrums, put-downs, viciousness, and other silly attempts at drama. Especially now that we don’t need them anymore.

Hey, if they don’t want that huge investment, from stupidity or whatever, best of luck with whatever it is they think they’re doing.

Look the point is women want real men, a man who is not out of a job who pays the bills. They always keep remiding us what a real man is and what he has to do to be one. Men want a real woman somebody to take care of the home he pays for and to look after the children. There are women who have to settle with less and men who have to settle with less, but since i can pick I chosed a real woman and not a manly woman.
Also there are women and men who are different than average. Men looking for strong women even physically strong bodybuilder types is not unheard of the way some women like more feminin men over what most call “real men”. To each their own but you gotta accept that not every man is like that or even very few are.
Oh and by the way during the years of hardship in America and the industrial revolution in England it was women who said women should be able to stay at home with the children. Then women got it raised excellent offspring that in the past 50 years has made leaps bigger 8though some of them for the wrong side) than what we have seen during the past 1000 years and now those women who were blessed with a stay at home mom and a stable enviroment say they were wrong putting their childs through daycare divorce and depriving them of a family. It seems as if women have problems to accept life in an utopia while men seem to be content with it complaining only when women act up or tear everything down in divorce court.

“Nice post…”

Thanks sir!

Being the son of a single mother, I learned early that my mother couldn’t teach me about Manly things. And it hurt my spirit a great deal.

Stunted my growth, as it were.

After much research and thought, I’ve come up with required reading for today’s emasulated youth.

Every boy should read:

The Greek Classics

The Odyssey by Homer
The IIiad by Homer
Lysistrata by Aristophanes
Works and Days by Hesiod
Eumenides by Aeschylus

The Roman Classics

The Aeneid by Virgil

The Old Testament

The New Testament

All of these are chock full of 100% Manliness!!! GYA HA HA

* AHEM *

I think the fall of Liberal Arts to the Feminists was one of our greatest losses.

Men need to connect with their ancient past.

One more gem:

Chinese proverb, “A hundred men can make an encampment, but it requires a woman to make a home.”

Yes, really indeed embarrassing. He probably forgot to wash his mouth before he spoke up. Or his mother didn’t teach him the basic politeness.

Thanks for the thanks, Mamonaku. I’ve enjoyed your posts around the site, and I salute your having survived your upbringing, yada, yada, yada.
>>>End of Love Fest <<<

Those are all excellent books, but you remind me I have some reading to do…
How about Plutarch’s Lives?
Or Ovid’s Metamorphoses?
Or Machiavelli’s The Prince?

We have a joke thread; how about a book thread? It could have both a classics and a more modern section.

Just another crazy idea…

Those are classic works, well worth the read. I have to say that I never read any Plutarch, so I dunno about that one.

Any other suggestions are welcomed!

seriously, where on earth do you get this from? amongst all of my married friends (all of whom have careers), I’ve never encountered anyone with an attitude like that. once you get married it’s all “our money”… that’s part of the whole “joining your lives together” thing.
