Zammo,
Thanks for being one of the few clear thinkers in this debate.  You are dead-on when you state that the anger is from mixed messages.  Most of the contributors made the case for anger for me. I couldn’t have demonstrated it better.  They came at me from all directions…without really listening.
I started my adventure interviewing 527 men – in defense of men.  I was trying to determine why men make such great buddies; but frequently poor mates.  I wanted to understand – just for myself.  The adventure grew.
I interviewed a judge who divorces over 800 couples a years.  He told me 85% of the divorces are over money.  I think the question is… what is the motive for the marriage?  If it’s for financial gain or security, there are safer investments.
Please do read my book.  I would welcome your opinion.  It will be available from the publisher’s website in November.

You dumb biitch, this is called “projection”, this is where your project your securities and faults onto men. This is exactly why you’re a dumb biitch– you don’t listen. In fact you have selective hearing and can’t hear the truth.

I started my adventure interviewing 527 men – in defense of men.  I was trying to determine why men make such great buddies; but frequently poor mates.  I wanted to understand – just for myself.  The adventure grew.

You dumb biitch, here we see you going into the survey trying to justify YOUR OWN FAILURES with men. It’s not that men make great buddies you dumb biitch. They’re humoring your idiocy or too pussified to tell you the truth– that you’re a dumb biitch who doesn’t have the intellectual capacity to be a friend to a man, and men and women aren’t capable of being “just friends” without simultaneously being lovers. You should have learned this in high school you idiot.

And that fact that you interviewed 527 men and couldn’t figure out that you were the problem in relationships is only a testament to your idiocy. You only needed to interview me to find that out.

The only thing that grew is your self-delusion

I interviewed a judge who divorces over 800 couples a years.  He told me 85% of the divorces are over money.  I think the question is… what is the motive for the marriage?  If it’s for financial gain or security, there are safer investments.

Why would I want to read a book from some dumb biitch who doesn’t even understand the problem of Feminism? I’m suprised it isn’t just a coloring book.

“…He told me 85% of the divorces are over money.

Yea, duh, it’s his money they’re fighting over. (I love the way the quoted sentence makes “money” sound so neutral…)

What’s happening is that when a divorce occurs the woman is finally revealing her whoreness and is demanding that the bill be paid. The courts then enforce this part of the “contract”. (Of course it would have been so unromantic for him to have raised these issues beforehand.) Since he won’t willingly hand over the cash to her, she goes to her pimp Uncle Sugar to coerce it out of him.

I think the question is… what is the motive for the marriage?

I thought we just answered that. He has an inherent impulse to give women money. Just kidding…

If it’s for financial gain or security, there are safer investments.”

This entire sentence is confused: the man doesn’t marry because he gets “financial gain or security” out of it. Those are the things he gives that she gets. Those are her motivations, and his liabilities.

(And “safer” isn’t, or shouldn’t be, the sole consideration in making an investment. Probably the safest thing to do is put your money in a safe-deposit box, but that’s not exactly investing it.)

Excellent observation, Martian. If you take an analytical look at that sentence, and the text preceeding it, the whole thing becomes pretty clear:

“I interviewed a judge who divorces over 800 couples a years. He told me 85% of the divorces are over money.”

In the preceding sentence, she uses the active, transitive verb with an object, and says, “I interviewed a judge.” As clear as “dog bites man.” But, in the next sentence, she switches to the passive, intransitive verb “are” (which I have pointed out previously is the grammatical equivalent of an equal sign), AND she disguises the switch by introducing the sentence with an active verb clause, “He told me.” The real point of the sentence is therefore moved to a subordinate position following the grammatically main part.

The intended propagana is hidden in the formulation: An authority says that the cause of divorces = money issues, and she leaves vague and unstated the kind of “issues.” But, since she has chosen a generally understood phraseology “over money” which we usually interpret to mean, “caused by money problems,” we are supposed to think that the matter at issue in the divorce trial is the couple’s arguments about how to conduct the family finances.

You’ve sensed her intent, and saw where the lie is. I hope you like my in-depth analysis of her technique.

“but frequently poor mates.”

Feminism has tried to turn men into women, by making men do things for women in exchange for love. That is what women do for men! Feminism tries to turn men into women.

The bible clearly says woman was created for man, and not man for women!

There are too many parachutes for women to use, via alimony and child support, if you we were truly equal than you would not need the crutches you use!!!

Women have been proving for the last 30 years that men have been right for the last 30 centuries!

No doubt about it, your parse-o-matic was much better suited to the task than my old one. It jams up entirely everytime it hits the word “fissiparous” and is still in the shop getting fixed.

The other thing that really irked me about her approach was the use of a survey. This is so typical of women’s magazines. In business and politics (and other areas), such things are used to track sentiment as conditions change over time, a semi-legit use of such things.

But in the world of women, the thinking is of the sort: “Gee, we don’t know anything about this at all, let’s do a survey!”. They’re perpetually like anthropologists visiting a new continent for the first time and doing base-level questioning of the natives. Always doing surveys seems to guarantee their level of understanding never progresses much beyond square one.

There was one of these books about ten years ago on why men marry. It produced the astounding finding that 90% of the men were first attracted to their future wives by her good looks. Most of the book was snippets from interviews of the hubbies, from which one could take whatever one wanted.

Gentlemen, I am proud of the ‘analysis’ that you boys have done to this bitch’s double-standard, completely baseless, (lack of) arguments.

And I gave a cursory look to the article posted by Anti-Feminist…WHAT THE **bleep** WAS THAT?…can a normal person even write that kind of b.s.

Finally, the use of surveys by women is indeed a very common propoganda tool, meant to give some weightage to their always biased and retarded arguments. I am so sick of these surveys and ‘researches’ that prove that women are better managers than men (do a google search on this)…while there are hardly any bitches who have ever done anything constructive in the corporate or any other industry…

Did anyone see the ’60 Minutes’ bull**bleep**ing**bleep** program on the whores who were fired from HP? How these women had the ‘feeling’ that they were fired for personal reasons (aka, because they don’t have the **bleep**)…as if no other CEO has ever been fired…and of course, the bitch wrote a book…HA

Sorry, I flipped it over to the start of the Cards game…

But Carly was on one of the morning “news” talkshows earlier plugging her book. I had the sound off… figure she’ll be on Oprah in the next few days anyway so there’ll be plenty of time to not catch her. Like Maureen Dowd almost a year ago, this too shall pass.

Dio: Back in 1985 I went to a church meeting, a men’s group. The ‘facilitator’ was one of the over trained feminist inspired and petted so-called liberal men. SNAG. The evening’s subject was the newly published book by Shere Hite that supposedly exposed the shocking and spectacular discovery that lots of wives cheat on their husbands. Lots of research. Very official and academic sounding, and quaranteed to crank up a group of frightened conservative married men. And, we should all know that the real academic community has been saying for about forty years that Shere Hite’s research is trash. But, the men’s group wasn’t in the mood to hear that. So, of course, I hammered the point in like a tweed suited Van Helsing while staring maniacally at the ‘facilitator.’ Friggin’ blood suckers are hard to kill.

Later that night, I took some purloined pages of the sacred Wiccan book out of my sleve, whipped them up in the blender with a banana and some soy protein, and drank the immunizing concoction down with an ‘Ahhh,’ and a burp, knowing that this too would pass.
